NOTICE OF TERMINATION OF RECOUNT FOR OFFICE OF GOVERNOR

Notice is hereby given that the request for recount for the Office of Governor for 
the June 2, 2026 election at the request of candidate Raji Rab has been terminated. 
Advance deposit of funds is required prior to the commencement of the recount, 
pursuant to California Code of Regulations, title 2, section 20355. The required 
deposit was not received by the requestor and the recount was not commenced. 
In accordance with California Code of Regulations, title 2, sections 20359 and 
20362, the public recount of the ballots cast in Kern County for the Office of 
Governor for the June 2, 2026 election at the request of candidate Raji Rab has 
been terminated and no further recount will be conducted pursuant to this request.
